Our Mission

After October 7th, Jews, Israelis, and Zionists in America needed safe spaces to have fun and and be unapologetically themselves, leading to the creation of Mesibat Maccabee (Maccabee Party).

These parties feature Israeli music, alcohol, food and games.

​

Infused with Israeli and Middle Eastern culture, Mesibat Maccabee is founded on the belief that all Jews, regardless of where their ancestors lived during exile, are indigenous to the land of Israel.

​

By incorporating Israeli culture, these events provide familiarity for Israelis abroad and help American Jews see this culture as a vital part of their identity.

​

For many Jews—secular, agnostic, or atheist—non-religious spaces are essential. Uniting around our shared connection to Israel helps us fight back, stay connected, and strengthen our Jewish identities.

We are also grateful and honored to have wonderful allies who join us at our events. Whatever your religion, race, gender, or sexual orientation, we are one big community where everyone is welcome and should always feel comfortable at a Mesibat Maccabee.
